Hello, I’m Sandy Rummel and I’m running for re-election as Senator for Minnesota Senate District 53.  

For the last four years I have been working hard in the state senate for Minnesota families. I am seeking re-election to continue my work moving Minnesota forward.

     Our first responsibility is to examine our priorities and enact a structurally balanced budget supported by effective government practices. We also need to identify and remove the obstacles that stand in the way of success for our families: student learning opportunities, small business’s ability to generate new jobs, housing affordability, and access to transportation and technology infrastructure. Finally, we need to sustain our leadership in health care, environmental sustainability and renewable energy.

     As your senator, I will continue to advocate for policies that build strong, safe and healthy communities. I am running for Minnesota Senate to get results that make a difference for Minnesota families.
